MACRAME HAS BECOME A WAY OF HELPING ANNA MANAGE HER MIND AND IT IS QUICKLY BECOMING A SKILL THAT SHE CAN WHOLEHEARTEDLY SHARE WITH OTHERS.
Born in Newcastle, NSW during the lockdown of 2020, What Knot Macrame has become a culmination of many passions for founder Anna Asquith. As a avid fan of all things creativity and community, it has found a place in Anna's life and heart. Following a career teaching in an array of education settings and most recently, within a school in a hospital, What Knot has helped Anna to come home to herself and honour her creativity.
The process of physically making something combining different colours and textures has brought so much joy and that joy has spread to other people in Anna's community. Her pieces aim to create something that little bit special for her clients. A bespoke woven piece inspired by a photo of a place that transports them to a particular period in their lives.
